BlackBerry Working On A New Smartphone Code Named BBF100-1 With Snapdragon 660 SoC

A user agent profile seen on TCL’s website has revealed that Blackberry is currently working on a new smartphone. Details shows that the new smartphone may likely be a successor to the BlackBerry KEYone. Although the new device name is currently unknown but information reveals that it has a model number of BBF100-1 which is similar to BlackBerry KEYone (BBB100-1).

The device will feature QWERTY keyboard, a resolution of 1620 x 1080 pixels and a Snapdragon 660 processor. Unlike the predecessor which ran on Android v7.1 Nougat, the new device will be getting Android 8.0 Oreo straight out of the box. Although not much details of the device have been revealed yet, but we hope to see a more powerful smartphone.

The BlackBerry KEYone is one of the most successful BlackBerry model in recent time. This is largely due to the well designed physical QWERTY keyboard, a fingerprint scanner embedded in the space bar, a powerful Snapdragon 625 chipset and a 3505mAh longer battery life. We hope to bring you more details about the new device.
