Meizu will be coming out with its second Qualcomm Snapdragon powered chipset phone after the released of the M6 Note few months ago. The new device spotted on Geekbench listing was benchmarked back in August and details shows the M5X to be running on Android 7.1.2 with an msm8952 motherboard.  The msm8952 is part number for the Snapdragon 617 announced back in 2015.

Meizu M5X Geekbench Listing

The 3GB of RAM shows a scored of 1409 points in the single core test and 3795 points in the multi-core test. There are some issues with this Geekbench listing which we have noticed. For instance, the Snapdragon 617 having a six cores instead of an octa-core processor which is wrong.

Also the listing showed that the chipset was clocked at 1.65GHz, when the processor’s is suppose to have a maximum of 1.5GHz. We hope to bring you more details about the device as soon as they are released.
