The New Snapdragon 636 Promises 40 Percent Improved Performance

Qualcomm has announced the new Snapdragon 636 at the 2017 4G/5G Summit. Snapdragon 636, is an upgraded to the Snapdragon 630 which was introduced earlier this year by the company. Snapdragon 630 designed using the same 14nm FinFet process technology uses eight Kryo 260 CPUs. 


Qualcomm promises that the Snapdragon 636 will bring about 40% increase in performance with support for ultra-wide FHD+ displays and Assertive Display.
