Android 7.1.1 Nougat Update Finally Hits Moto G4 Play

Android 7.1.1 Nougat update is officially hitting Moto G4 Play device when other smartphone are running the latest Android 8.0 Oreo. Users of the device in Brazil will be the first to get the update before been rolled out to other part of the world. Moto G4 Play was launched back in 2016 with the device running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

The Android 7.1.1 Nougat update which is Over The Air (OTA) comes with the Build number NPI26.48-36. It weighs about 644MB in size and comes with the Android security patch for November, 2017.  The update is meant to fix bugs and improve the user experience of the device. Android 7.1 update comes bringing new and improve features such as emoji that reflect the pivotal roles women play in the world, app shortcuts that can be launched directly from home screen in apps like Twitter, Google Messenger, Google Maps by simply long pressing the app icon.


Before you begin, make sure your device is charged up to 50% and then Go to【Setting】>【About】>【System Update】and hit update to get the new features of the Android 7.1.1.
