LG V30 (US Users) Starts Getting Android 8.0 Oreo Beta Update

Its seems LG has started rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo beta testing update for LG V30 device for US users. This is coming after the company releasing the update in South Korea. An LG V30 owner  confirmed receiving the update for its US unlocked version of the smartphone. 

While this may still be in beta stage, the update comes with the latest January security patch. It's still unclear how many LG V30 users in the US got the update, from experiences this may probably be about a few. 

International LG V30 has yet to receive the Android 8.0 Oreo beta update and it seem US users might be the first get it. And as you may well know, Android Oreo comes with a lots of amazing features such as Background limits, Notification channels, snooze notifications, Autofill APIs, Picture in Picture (PIP) display, Adaptive icons and much more.

The update is for unlocked LG V30 with Model Number US998 and the update is Over The Air (OTA).The software version of the Update is V18f. It may interest you to know that the OTA Update is not available for all LG V30 US998 owners in the U.S.
