Nokia Working On A Phone With 5 Rear Cameras

If reports going round the internet is anything to go be, there the world may be witnessing its first smartphone with five (5) cameras. According to rumours making rounds, HMD Global is currently working on a Nokia smartphone coming with five cameras at the back of the device. This information is coming from a source familiar with Foxconn’s business plans, according to him, the company is also working with HMD Global on the project.

The source revealed that HMD has already prepared a smartphone with a penta-lens camera so that it can be tested. The penta-lens camera will feature a circular form factor with seven holes in the middle that form a circle with five of those holes each holding a sensor while the other two will house the LED flash. The source also revealed that if Foxconn is able to find a way to mass produce the device, we may see the smartphone getting launch later this year.

We have seen smartphones with with four cameras, the project Nokia is working on, will be the first of its kind. We hope to see how this well work. A smartphone with five cameras, what's your view on this.
