OnePlus 5T Gets OxygenOS 5.0.2 Update, Brings Android Oreo 8.0

OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 5.0.2 update to its OnePlus 5T device. The update comes with a number of other upgrades and fixes too. Some of the new feature brought by the updages includes, New design for Quick Settings, Security Patch and also Upgraded Android version to Oreo(8.0). See Change-log Below:

  • Upgraded Android version to Oreo(8.0)
  • New design for Quick Settings
  • General bug fixes and improvements
  • Applied CPU security patch: CVE-2017-13218

  • Updated Launcher to v2.2
  • Updated Gallery to v2.0
  • Updated Weather to v1.9
  • Updated File Manager to v1.7.6
The update is being rolled out to users gradually is Over The Air (OTA). But if you wish to get it immediately. Simply follow this step. 
First install a VPN, and then set your location to Canada or Germany, 
Go to System Update under Settings Menu and check for the update.
