How To Easily Root ZTE Axon 9 Device

The Axon 9 smartphone is a new device from ZTE featuring a 5 inch Amoled display with a screen resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels. The smartphone comes in three variants 4/6GB and an internal storage capacity of 64/128/256GB all expandable up to 256 GB, using a microSD card. 

For owners of the device, this post is to show you how you can easily root your ZTE Axon 9 smartphone. Please note that before you begin any of the process below, backup your data to avoid accidental data loss, if you are using Kingoroot method charge your device up to 60-70% before proceeding. If you are using the manual method, Your device must be flashed with custom TWRP.

Using KingoRoot

Firstly, download the latest released version of KingoRoot app to your smartphone from HERE. Install it on your device. Follow the instruction given on screen and then finish off with rebooting your device and you are done.

Using Iroot

Download root from Iroot from HERE. Then install the program on your PC, Laptop, Computer. Connect your phone with a USB cable. Run the Exe file. Click the root button from the main window.
Wait for the it to install. You are done with rooting your phone.

How to Root ZTE Axon 9 Manually

Rooting your device manually involves you downloading ADB tool and SuperSU file on your computer. After downloading Install the ADB tool on your computer. 

Then transfer the SuperSU file into your device’s MicroSD card. Connect your device to the computer using a compatible USB cable. Open ADB tool(command window) on your computer. Now enter & execute this code ‘adb reboot recovery’.

Open the recovery menu on your device. Then go to Install section and locate the SuperSU zip file. Start the installation by swapping. When the installation is completed, you can reboot your device
