Asus Zenfone 4 Pro Gets Android 8.0 Oreo Update

Asus is currently rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo Update to the Zenfone 4 Pro. The Asus Zenfone 4 Pro was launched back in August last year running on Android Nougat out-of-the-box. The device came featuring a 5.5-inch Full-HD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixel. The device featured a 6GB RAM and an internal storage capacity of 64GB which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.


Asus Zenfone 4 Pro came powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, backed by a 3600mAh battery capacity. The smartphone came with a dual camera setup with 12-megapixel and 16-megapixel at the rear while the front come with an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter. 

The new update comes with software version of V15.0410.1802.34 an features improvement in power consumption, new ‘long screenshot’ function, better user interface, and more. The Android Oreo update brings features such as Background limits, Autofill, Smart text selection, and Picture-in-Picture mode.

The update is Over-The-Air and you can manually check by going to Settings > About > System update.
