Hublot Introduce The Big Bang Referee, Its First Wear OS Watch

Luxury watch makers Hublot is introducing its first Wear OS smartwatch. The 13.9mm thick smartwatch known as the Big Bang Referee is limited edition and Kevlar and titanium body designed. The Swiss luxury watchmaker is the official timekeeper of the 2018 World Cup and the device is capable of alert wearers 15 minutes before every game, as well as send notifications on yellow and red cards, player changes, and of course goals.


The Big Bang Referee is powered by a dual-core Intel Atom Z34XX processor running at 1.6Ghz with 512MB of RAM. It’s 400 x 400 AMOLED display has a 35.4 mm diameter for 287 PPI. It comes with a diameter of 49 mm and is 13.9 mm thick, powered by 410 mAh battery.

The watch which will be connected to goal-line technology is 50 meter water resistance with GPS. The watch is designed specifically for the 2018 world cup and as such, the company is only producing 2,018 units of this watch. Sales of the Big Bang Referee watch starts at May 1st at Hublot retail stores at a price tag of €4,200 about $5,200.
