Samsung Galaxy Note 9 To Feature Snapdragon 845, Android 8.1

Just a while back, a new device from Samsung with the model number (SM-N960U) was spotted on HTML5 test browser benchmark. The device which will be expected as Galaxy Note 9 was spotted running on Android 8.0 from the listing. Now the smartphone has again surfaced on Geekbench listing this time running on Android 8.1 (Oreo).

Although the benchmark listing did not reveal detail specification, but it shows that the smartphone will come with a 6GB RAM and powered by Snapdragon 845 processor. The SM-N960U will be the U.S. variant which will be powered by a Snapdragon 845, while other countries will likely get the Exynos 9 Series 9810 SoC, similar to the S9 series.

Report says that Samsung will make a final decision on the in-display fingerprint sensor for the Galaxy Note9 soon. It also said that Samsung Display, the division which supplies panels for Samsung devices has said to have prepared three or four solutions to integrate a fingerprint sensor into the display.
