WhatsApp For iOS Gets Group Audio Calling, While For Android Comes ‘Select all’ Chat Option

Users of Whatsapp on iOS device will soon be able to make voice calls with multiple contacts right from WhatsApp messaging app. This is made possible as Whatsapp is introducing a new group audio calls feature for all iOS device. The new feature comes with interface similar to that of your regular audio calls with multiple caller IDs.

The U.I features buttons to enable speaker, video call, and mute button below the profile pictures of the participants. You can make whatsapp calls, whatsapp video calls well as enable the speaker function using these buttons. Whats has not yet revealed the number of limited participants for a group audio calls. The group audio calling functionality was announced back at the F8 event earlier this month.

Whatsapp also introduced a new ‘Select all’ chats option for Android smartphone users. The new feature will make it easier for you to mark all the new messages as read or archive all your chats with a single tap. To use this features, you need to select one chat at least and its is currently available to users of Whatsapp version 2.18.60 or above.
