Android P Beta 3 (DP4) Released To Fix Bugs And Improve Optimizations

After Google released Android ‘P’ Beta 2 (DP3) for the Pixel smartphones last month, it has now released Android ‘P’ Beta 3 (DP4) for the phones. This latest version includes the latest bug fixes and optimizations for stability and polish, along with the July 2018 security updates. The update also comes with iconography refresh, removing the fill from icons across the entire interface.

Google in its released note mentioned known issues related to stability, battery, or performance. The latest preview update includes the Beta 3 system images for Pixel devices and the Android Emulator, as well as an update to the Android Studio build tools to include D8 as an independent tool.

According to Google;
Beta 3 is an early release candidate build of Android with near-final system behaviors and the official Android P APIs (API level 28)

While the Beta 4 (DP5) update available by the end Q3 and the final stable version being expected in September, Android P Beta 2 is available through over-the-air (OTA). If you are enrolled in the beta program, you will get the update automatically but if not, you can download Factory and OTA images and flash it manually.
